We’re excited to bring these lessons back to the States to refine our skills and perfect these recipes.

Instead... read more of having one set of pans and materials for each small group of 1-2 people it was one pan for the larger group of 7 people which didn’t make the experience special. It was a lot of just watching others make the food instead of you doing it for yourself. I think this is also a problem because some of the guests were not very hygienic (for example, one person licked their fingers and didn’t wash hands after before touching other ingredients during the cooking process) and the host did not actively try to enforce this important part of a healthy experience.

Based on other rave reviews, I expected more information about the history and cultural significance of paella and the food... read more we made. Our host also left us after the paella was served. I thought he would have joined us while we had our meal to give us more details about the neighborhood or other places to visit since we were already in the area.
