Cooking Classes in Barcelona

  This cooking class was a good experience. My only suggestion would be to re-think the structure of the class because a class of 8 people won't get the same value,... read more or even less, compared to a class of only 2 people. Maybe assign one pan for every 4 people if it's a big group or add a dessert option. Upon Eladi's recommendation to tour the Sarria neighborhood, I stumbled upon a mercado nearby, so maybe the host could even take the class to check out seafood options to improve the experience. The class wasn't heavily focused on the cooking portion (but we did get to chop vegetables and stir a couple times), so do not expect a master class in cooking paella lol. However, I had a fun group to interact with and enjoyed my time overall. Carlos provided sufficient background info on the dishes as well as his personal stories about paella. In hindsight, I should've spoken up, but it was a bit hard to hear him at times over the background music. Nevertheless, I would recommend this class if it's your first time in Barcelona. Also, the Sarria neighborhood is beautiful, so definitely take a walk before/after your class if you can.

  My husband and I absolutely loved this Paella cooking class. It was fantastic, and we left with a lot of tips on how to perfect our own Paella at home.

  A great class for an amazing value. Carlos was such a great teacher and chef. And the paella came out really tasty.

  Enjoyed learning to make Paella and Sangria! The Paella came out amazing and Eladi showed a simple formula for delicious tapas! Excellent wine and company. Overall a great experience!
