Initially I registered for another paella cooking class, but it was cancelled a day before the class. I looked online and and was glad that i managed to find this... read more class. It was an excellent class! Anna is a very passionate and articulate teacher, and she shared with us all about Spanish cooking. She prepared a drink Sangria with red wine, a dessert crema catalana ( which involves a blow torch), and chicken, prawn and green bean paella. As there was one participant which was vegetarian, we also had a smaller pan of artichoke paella which was delicious. (so its good that you go with a vegeterian! Haha) This class is interactive as for each step Anna would demonstrate and then someone could volunteer to take over. At the end of the class I purchased the wooden spoons we ate with :) I saw that they also had "pimento la vera" and saffron for purchase, but I had already got that on my trip to Granada, a few days ago.
