This class was the best experience for all of us during our stay in Barcelona. Our host really made the experience a great one and the paella was amazing!!

We had so much fun, the host was amazing and taught us so much while keeping it fun. He also got us to all help so no one ever felt... read more left out. Definitely going home to share the paella we’ve learnt to cook!

This was a great date night activity. Learned about the history of culinary dishes in Spain and how they’ve grown through the years. Great host!

I’m not sure who hosted the event (it wasn’t the couple on the advertised site) but she did tell us she owned a paella restaurant in Taiwan. She was difficult... read more to understand and the paella was not good. More than half of the class did not eat it. Even the sangria was bad. The space was great with plenty of room for everyone.

This was a very nice experience. The instructor Eladi made the class interesting and was very knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend this class for anyone. The paella turned out amazing... read more and was much easier than expected to make.

This venue is far out of town and difficult to reach. The class is held in a semi finished basement of a building - not what we expected given... read more the pictures advertised. The host was kind and professional but she was not a local. We did not apply any cooking skills beyond chopping and stirring.

As a guy whose not into cooking, I was initially apprehensive about spending 3 hours of a vacation in a cooking class. Boy o boy was I wrong. Anna was... read more AWESOME, I learned about how she grew up with food specifically with a dish I liked, paella. What was just a dish I ordered at a restaurant to me before became more personal through Anna.
I had some friends who took a different cooking class from someone else the day before, they reported it was a very passive experience as they sat and watched the instructor do most of the cooking. This is definitely NOT the case with Anna's class. You will don a cooking apron and actively participate in the cooking process. Yes you will be handling knives so don't cut yourself as my friend did! After the cooking process is done, you will sit down and enjoy the creation you just made. Talking with Anna over the meal was like getting to know a new friend that is a local, we learned so much more about Barcelona, she was also interested in us and our own backgrounds as well.
I'd highly recommend booking a cooking class with Anna, if you're a small group and are flexible I'd ask if she has any open spots if you want a more intimate experience as our cooking class with our group of 4 was.

This was a great experience. We went as a family, and were able to truely enjoy the Paella making process. It was a very enjoyable way... read more to meet others that were in Barcelona on holiday from other countries as well. Our teacher was wonderful and really brought the importance of cooking as a family to life. I would definately do this again. In fact, I have all the ingredients together and am having friends next week for dinner. Can't wait to pass on what we learned. Highly recommend this experience!
