We really enjoyed this cooking class, it ending up being one of my favorite things I did in Spain. I was worried it might be small and in someone’s kitchen... read more but it was a big beautiful space. The host was funny, relaxed, and a great teacher. The food came out amazing as well.

Signing up for this experience my family and I were able to experience making paella, which is a huge part of the Spanish culture. Our host spoke about the history... read more of the dish, and how it brings people together. Jumping into making the dish, we had appetizers and wine. The type of paella that we made was seafood and it turned out wonderful. We had a great time!

We had such a great time at this experience! Our chef was very engaging and gave us a mini history lesson of tapas while we made pan con tomate. We... read more all helped to make the paella as well as the sangria—both were fantastic. We enjoyed our group as well; everyone had a wonderful time. All in all, a straightforward but fun experience that lasted exactly two hours. We would recommend this experience to anyone looking to enjoy tasty paella and good company.

This was such a highlight of my very brief time in Barcelona! The class moved at such an easy, smooth pace that the two hours flew by and the chef... read more (Ivan?) was so personable and informative along the way. Everyone got to participate in the process and get their photo ops, and the food and sangria were some of the best I've had in Spain overall. My only two small complaints would be they moved the class last minute from 4pm to noon with only an hour and a half notice - which thankfully happened to work out, but would have been really unfortunate for some who may not have had the flexibility. The other thing was the room got veryyyy warm about midway through the class due to the cooking. Everyone was pretty toasty and mentioning it so I would recommend either opening doors/windows or keeping the AC or a fan running while things are being cooked as it distracted from the experience a bit. Otherwise, would still recommend everyone book this, you absolutely won't regret it. :)

Initially I registered for another paella cooking class, but it was cancelled a day before the class. I looked online and and was glad that i managed to find this... read more class. It was an excellent class! Anna is a very passionate and articulate teacher, and she shared with us all about Spanish cooking. She prepared a drink Sangria with red wine, a dessert crema catalana ( which involves a blow torch), and chicken, prawn and green bean paella. As there was one participant which was vegetarian, we also had a smaller pan of artichoke paella which was delicious. (so its good that you go with a vegeterian! Haha) This class is interactive as for each step Anna would demonstrate and then someone could volunteer to take over. At the end of the class I purchased the wooden spoons we ate with :) I saw that they also had "pimento la vera" and saffron for purchase, but I had already got that on my trip to Granada, a few

Our group had a lot of fun and we all loved the paella and Catelonia Creme - so much so that we bought a bunch of saffron and smoked paprika... read more and ordered a paella pan to replicate the dishes back home. Thanks for a great time!

This was a great experience. We went as a family, and were able to truely enjoy the Paella making process. It was a very enjoyable way... read more to meet others that were in Barcelona on holiday from other countries as well. Our teacher was wonderful and really brought the importance of cooking as a family to life. I would definately do this again. In fact, I have all the ingredients together and am having friends next week for dinner. Can't wait to pass on what we learned. Highly recommend this experience!
