The Paella cooking course has a really good price-quality ratio compared to other classes you find around the city. The place is kind of industrial, which has a cool flair... read more but maybe also a bit too "shabby chic". Chef Eladi is great, he has a lot of knowledge and made the course nice, fun and familiar, the food tasted great and was fun to prepare. To summarize, I would say, that the course is simple but I did get what I expected :-) Thank you Eladi for the fun evening!

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would enthusiastically recommend it to others. We were lucky to have José as our host, who is a professional chef. He not only walked us... read more through each step of the recipe but also delved into the fascinating history behind each dish.

We really enjoyed this cooking class, it ending up being one of my favorite things I did in Spain. I was worried it might be small and in someone’s kitchen... read more but it was a big beautiful space. The host was funny, relaxed, and a great teacher. The food came out amazing as well.

We met up with friends in Barcelona and decided a paella cooking class would be a fun way to spend our time. We were not disappointed! Children ranging in age... read more from13 to 22 all fully enjoyed the experience as well. It was the perfect way to celebrate our Thanksgiving dinner and we are planning to add paella to our Thanksgiving menu next year!

My 3 daughters and I went to this class and we had an excellent time. We had the extended class where we had a tour of the market to learn... read more how to pick out the various ingredients for the dish. You get a history of the dish and learn skills for a wonderful meal, including a tasty sangria. I have enjoyed making Paella many times since the class. Highly recommend giving it a try.

As a guy whose not into cooking, I was initially apprehensive about spending 3 hours of a vacation in a cooking class. Boy o boy was I wrong. Anna was... read more AWESOME, I learned about how she grew up with food specifically with a dish I liked, paella. What was just a dish I ordered at a restaurant to me before became more personal through Anna.
I had some friends who took a different cooking class from someone else the day before, they reported it was a very passive experience as they sat and watched the instructor do most of the cooking. This is definitely NOT the case with Anna's class. You will don a cooking apron and actively participate in the cooking process. Yes you will be handling knives so don't cut yourself as my friend did! After the cooking process is done, you will sit down and enjoy the creation you just made. Talking with Anna over the meal was like getting to know a new friend that is a local, we learned so much more about Barcelona, she was also interested in us and our own backgrounds as well.
I'd highly recommend booking a cooking class with Anna, if you're a small group and are flexible I'd ask if she has any open spots if you want a more intimate experience as our cooking class with our group of 4 was.
